A love affair of summer
Ended in winter
Hence I engraved
The tombstone of my love
On a frozen window pane
For the passerby to notice
Some shared hope
Some told me to cope
Some consoled
Some pretended to be there
But eventually eloped
Sure I got an audience
To sulk and cry
To share the lost
Glory of my failed affection
As summer approached again,
Those marks melted away
Vaporizing the brief attention
I ever received
The physical signs of my love
Eventually faded with season
But who will see the one
Inscribed on my frozen heart!!
Very nice sequencing of attentions, leaving only that which only you could see inside! Like the image too, perfect fit, Vinayak š
