Strike of lightning bolt

The darkest powerless night,

Where the moon is not in sight,

Agony and mind consumed of revolt,

Can you bring me back to life…?

With a strike of lightning bolt…

The flowers have withered with time,

Baseless is the music of wind chimes,

Anxiety driven life of rusted colt,

Can you bring me back to life…?

With a strike of lightning bolt…

Grassland aged as scorching desert sand,

Bounded by mind incapable of any errand,

The bouncy rough existence full of jolt,

I am dead. Can you bring me back to life…?

With a strike of lightning bolt…

Sleepless night amidst comfort of rocking chair,

Faint light of twilight glisten’s my grey hair,

someone escaping actuality reclines into delusive Holt,

Yes i am dead. Can you bring me back to life…?

With a strike of lightning bolt…

Somewhere residing in the deepest caverns.

Is an ocean of sorrow held by a gloomy cistern!

Floods the heart, eager to unbolt…

Let it find its way, Can you bring it back to life?

With a strike of lightning bolt…

Understand the songs of scavenging ravens,

A spiteful life or grave is a safe haven,

I am dead for long, experiencing life’s volt.

Can I ever come back to life…?

With a strike of lightning bolt…
