Don’t go quiet into the night,
Your thoughts are whispering,
They wish to tell you stories of,
Bright sunny days and
Gloomy rainy evenings…
Argue with the thoughts,
Shadowing courage and self-belief,
Like a storm shrouding a starry full moon night…
Embrace the thoughts,
Carrying hope at time of adversity,
Like a swarm of fireflies guiding way
Into dark misty nights…
Don’t go quiet into the night,
Your thoughts are whispering,
They wish to tell you stories,
Only if you are listening…

I love the use of the same verse to open and close the piece. It makes the final line so much more dramatic. Well written and lovely form!

The title of your poem seems to be inspired by βDo not go gentle into that good nightβ by Dylan Thomas, but maybe it is just an incidental similarity.
