For You

For you, I can steal the light from the blinding sun,

To share a shine in your darkest days.

For you, I can drink the tears of gloomy skies,

To moisten your heart with cloudless rain.

For you, I can absorb the serenity of the great moon,

To calm your dingy soul on restless nights.

For you, I can change the course of gusty winds,

To hold your shattered pieces tight.

For you, I will fight the odds without expecting any gain,

If for once you see me as a healer of your endless pain!

  1. Beautifully crafted, V! We would do the impossible for the ones we love. The rhyme scheme is fluid yet still connected and strong. It is well paced with the lines reading smoothly together. Another top-notch effort my good friend. Bravo!
