Two broken pieces
Of a shining star
Thrown in a universe
Struggling afar
A gravity pull
Of purest kind
Their destinies
Celestially Intertwined?
A fate so close
Yet left ajar
Two broken pieces
Of a shining star
They feel so near
Yet a distance far
Two broken pieces
Of a shining star
What one has
The other devoid
But still not enough to
fill their longing void
It seems so right
Yet they never unite
Back into their glow
For ages infinite
Still without much effort
They are each other’s comfort
Because they understand
What they had to withstand
Years of rough changes
Now hard to rearrange
Into their lost glory
Into a common story
All they have is this chance
A distant swirl, a cosmic dance
Two broken pieces
Of a shining star
May always be close
Yet a piece apart!

Loved this piece, V! This beautifully describes the unseen physics of love. Well done, my friend!
